National Pulmonary Rehabilitation Week 2018 March 11-17th

Pulmonary Rehabilitation Week, initiated by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR), aims to educate the community about the role of pulmonary rehabilitation in enhancing the quality of life of individuals with chronic lung disease. This year’s theme, “Improving Life, One Breath at a Time,” honors individuals who struggle to overcome shortness of breath and the pulmonary professionals who work every day to alleviate that struggle and improve patients’ everyday life.

MIJA Inc. wants to do our part in raising awareness about pulmonary rehabilitation and the difficulties that come with chronic diseases that affect your lungs. Although Pulmonary Rehabilitation can’t cure your lung disease, there are many benefits including improved quality of life, increased ability to exercise, decreased symptoms as well as help to manage anxiety and depression.

Critical Alert for Medical Oxygen, a device designed and developed by MIJA Inc., can also be used with oxygen therapy to alleviate the anxiety that comes with managing oxygen levels. Have piece of mind knowing that Critical Alert will protect your from running out of oxygen unknowingly.

For more information on how Critical Alert can help you, contact us at mija.com or give us a call at 781-871-5750. We’d be glad to help!

Happy Pulmonary Rehabilitation Week!
