Secretary Rachel Kaprielian announced that $8.2 million dollars in Workforce Training Grants will be handed out to Massachusetts small businesses. These grants will help 72 different companies across the state to provide customized training for over 5000 employees and create 568 new jobs over the next three years.

MIJA is proud to be a recipient of a $42,800 Grant to train a projected 25 employees and create an estimated 5 new jobs over the next three years. MIJA is using our Grant for Lean Manufacturing training for our pressure gauge production.

We are very excited and have already started training employees! All training is done by MassMEP.

This project is funded by a Workforce Training Fund grant through the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development. The grant program is administered by the Commonwealth Corporation.
